FRONT END vs BACK END DEVELOPMENT

Front End Development

It is the development of all visible parts of a website which the users can see or interact in their web browsers. Its also known the client side development. Front end developers are those who are responsible for the look, feel and design of the site by which the attractiveness and accessibility of the website is determined. Front end is usually built using the languages like: HTML, CSS, JavaScript. The importance of JavaScript in Front end development can be witnessed clearly as nowadays the front-end development is even known as JavaScript development. To become a front end developer you don’t need to know much about back end.

Back End Development

Back end development is associated with all the other parts of websites that users don’t directly interact with. It refers to the server side of an application. That is, in other words, each and everything (every communication) between the database and the browser. Back end development is a much more important aspect of web development. This development consists of three parts called a server, an application and a database. Most of the back end developers know well about front end languages but for the back end they have to use languages like PHP, Ruby, Python, Java etc. These back end developers are specifically called by using the name of the language they use.For example they will be called as PHP developers or Python developers.

Both front end developers and back end developers work together in order to make the website both attractive and more functional.

Full Stack Development

After having some idea about front end and back end developments, here comes an other topic “Full Stack Development”. Actually full stack development is a hybrid of both front end development and back end development. The persons who have both the front end and the back end skills are known as Full stack developers. So these persons are the ones who will become responsible for everything about the website they create.

Okay guys that’s all for this post. See you with a new topic in the next post.
